چکیده

Abstract A straightforward ferrocyanide immobilization on the surface of graphene oxide (GO) was conducted for rapid and efficient adsorption capacity lanthanum praseodymium from an aqueous solution. The GO mixed with 1-methyl imidazole in presence epichlorohydrin to form GO-imidazole-Cl thereafter suspended a potassium solution fabricate GO-imidazole-FeCN. prepared materials were characterized different advanced techniques confirming preparation method. ability GO-imidazole-FeCN towards La(III) Pr(III) ions evaluated. Moreover, isotherm showed that sorption process fitted Langmuir model considerable maximum 781.25 mg g −1 862.07 Pr(III). thermodynamic studies both metal spontaneous endothermic. In addition, adsorbent excellent adsorption–desorption behavior over 5 times, suggesting may be considered potential candidate removal which present fission products.

Application of Imidazolium based ionic liquid Nano-emulsions for the removal of H2S from crude oil

Hydrogen sulfide is one of the most dangerous contaminants in crude oil and natural gas that have to be removed prior to the transfer and refining. In this study, hydrophobic ionic liquid, i.e. 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium methylflour, [EMIM] [NTf2], was used as scavenger for the reduction of the H2S. Due to its ionic nature, [EMIM] [NTf2] forms nanoemulsion in crude oil media and hence can diss...

Covalent Modification of Glassy Carbon Electrode with an Imidazolium based Methoxysilyl Ionic Liquid Nanoparticles: Application in Determination of Redox System

Glassy carbon (GC) is the most commonly used carbon-based electrode in the analytical laboratory. Because of the high background current and low electrode response, modification of this electrode can be done by various materials and techniques. An ionic liquid (IL), 1-methyl-3-(3-trimethoxysilyl propyl) imidazoliumbis (trifluoromethylsulfonyl) imide, was covalently cross linked onto the GC surf...

Supramolecular ionic liquid based on graphene oxide.

For the purpose of preparing liquefied graphene oxide (GO), a process consisting of sulfonation with sodium sulfanilic acid and ionization with bulky amine-terminated Jeffamine® was designed and performed. The obtained hybrid fluid is actually a supramolecular ionic liquid (SIL) with sulfonated GO as the central anions and the terminal ammonium groups of Jeffamine® as the surrounding cations. T...
